Individuals with Disabilities

Approximately 30% of households in James City County have one or more people with a disability, which is about 10,825 individuals. Of those households, ambulatory limitations and hearing or vision impairments are the most common disabilities, followed by self-care or independent-living limitations and cognitive limitations.
