In September 2023, James City County purchased 7 properties in the Clark Lane/Mooretown Road area of the County. We're asking the community to HELP us develop these properties into Workforce Housing.

How can you help us develop these properties?

Attend the following 2 meetings being held at the Human Services Building, Training Room C, 5249 Olde Town Rd. and let your voice be heard:

  • Nov. 16, 2023, 6:30-8:30 p.m. - Come out and listen to the intent of project, what the Workforce Housing Task Force studied and recommended, and share your concerns with staff
  • Nov., 30, 2023, 6:30-8:30 p.m. - Come out and hear staff's feedback to your concerns. At this meeting we will clarify what concerns we heard from you, identify any desires residents have for their community, and listen to what the needs are for residents.
