[ARCHIVED] JCSA Starts Water Meter Register Replacement Program

A radio read water register

Beginning in April, James City Service Authority (JCSA) will start a comprehensive water meter register replacement program to replace approximately 14,250 touch read registers with radio read registers. JCSA has hired a contractor, Professional Meters, Inc., to perform the replacements. The purpose of this effort is to upgrade JCSA’s water distribution system with electronic reading capability. The new system will provide customers and staff with more detailed water usage information and improved leak detection.

This upgrade project is scheduled to take approximately seven months. Questions? Please call JCSA Customer Service at 757-253-6800.
