James City County personal property and real estate tax bills have been mailed and are due Monday, June 5.

Personal Property Taxes
In 2022, the Board of Supervisors approved a one-year reduction in the assessment percentage used to assess vehicles from 100% to 75% of the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) value in order to provide relief from the unprecedented increase in the values of used vehicles.  For 2023, the percentage has returned to 100%.

Real estate tax invoices have been mailed to all real estate owners. If an escrow is established for a property, please check the monthly mortgage statement to ensure funds are in escrow.
